Bluemont Fair
In 2023, I won the art contest for the Bluemont Fair (very exciting!) and created the poster layout. I was invited to be the Graphics Chair and volunteer my time to create and manage everything visual.
Now, every year I take the new winning artwork and design the poster around it, along with ads, merchandise, signage, social media graphics, and anything else related to digital and print design.
My Process
- Created artwork (2023) / met with the artwork winner (2024-present)
- Met with committee chairs to discuss plans and goals
- Created project guidelines for colors, fonts, and graphics
- Designed poster and postcard layouts
- Managed the print processes
- Designed ads for various digital and print publications
- Designed merchandise including buttons, glassware, hats, mugs, shirts, and tote bags
- Designed social media content including animated and static graphics
- Designed signage for placement at the fair
- Took photos/videos at the fair to use for marketing
